Bow Glass - Curved Glass
Glass has changed the facades of our buildings and our way of looking at the world over the past few years. The increasing use of this material in both civil and commercial constructions offers us panoramas that were unimaginable until only recently.
Luminous living and work spaces have become a virtual necessity in modern interior design and constitute an extremely desirable feature in communitu, industrial and outdoor areas alike, The ongoing evolution of today’s glass technologies permits solutions of architectural creativity of striking impact. HARD GLASS is extremely proud to position its BOW GLASS products at the top of its productions, because perfect curved glass always providfes enormous satisfaction to both the producer and the construction engineer.
Curved glass panels can be used in a variety of applications: architecture, shop décor, interior design.
Construction engineers that attempt to create innovative solutions through the extensive use of increasingly popular and attractive glass surfaces will find a fitting reply to each specific need in the HARD GLASS product range, where BOW GLASS represents its crowning achievement.
The bending process developed permits amazing aestethic solutions for every glass product,
HARD GLASS produces BOW GLASS in single panels, laminate, and toughened and heated versions.
The ANNEALED CURVED glass version offers thicknesses from 3 to 19 mm.
The use of LAMINATED CURVED GLASS is especially popular in the building industry, where it is primarily utilized in outdoor applications. This versions compbines all features of glass with considerable strength, thanks to the assembly of numerous panels of glass with layers of special plastic, which after heating and compression come to form a single, inseparble body that is naturally more resistant and safer. In regard to the existing HARD GLASS range of flat laminated glass. LAMINATED/BULLET-PROOF CURVED GLASS is available in 2 – 3 – 4 or more sheets, and with the insertion of plastic materials such as polycarbonate. Bear in mind that the thickness must always be reasonably proportional to the panel’s size and requisites (accident-prevention, safety, bulletproof).
INSULATING CURVED GLASS is produced by assembling two or more curved parnels of even different type and thickness with a dry air chamber and then joining the panels together by using a special appropriately sealed spacer. In this way, curved insulating glass panels with exceptional thermal and sound insulation properties are created with all the BOW GLASS aesthetic features to make a product that is truly unique in its kind.
All the types indigated above are are also available in reflecting, coloured, sandblasted … versions.
